Abstract

Communication plays a central role in the context of organizational change management. This article investigates the critical role of communication in designing, implementing, and evaluating organizational change. Through a careful review of the literature, this article reveals how effective communication can facilitate successful management of change, reduce resistance, strengthen employee engagement, and create an environment that supports organizational adaptation. Communication that is most often considered important by many people in order to achieve organizational goals is communication in the form of information dissemination. That is, the purpose of communication is the dissemination of information regarding changes so that changes can be accepted by members of the organization. Not only are they accepted, but they can also understand the reasons behind the change program.
