Abstract
This study examines "The Influence of Career Development on Work Motivation and Its Impact on the Performance of Education Personnel of the Non-PNS Public Service Agency, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University". The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of career development and work motivation on employee performance and the effect of career development on employee performance through mediating work motivation. The population in this study was 292 and the sample in this study was 64 people using purposive sampling based on judgment sampling. The data were analyzed using path analysis techniques. The results of data analysis indicate that career development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; Career development has a positive and significant effect on work motivation; Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; and work motivation is able to mediate the effect of career development on employee performance. If career development will increase work motivation and have an impact on improving employee performance.
