Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of competence and work experience on the performance of employees of PT. Sankyu Indonesia International with organizational commitment as intervening. The population in this study is the total number of employees who are at PT. Sankyu Indonesia International as many as 325 employees. Sampling used the Yamane formula with an allowance of 10% so that a sample of 77 employees was obtained. The data is analyzed with SmartPLS. The results of the study indicate that competence has a significant effect on employee performance; Work experience has a significant effect on employee performance; Competence has a significant effect on organizational commitment; work experience has a significant effect on organizational commitment; Organizational commitment has a significant effect on employee performance. The influence of competence on employee performance through organizational commitment is categorized as partial mediation. The effect on employee performance through organizational commitment is categorized as partial mediation.
